Elysian Winter Guard

Kate is a sophomore at Middle Tennessee State University.  She attended Cannon County High School, where she marched for three years.  The 2010 season is her 2nd with Elysian Independent. 

Mandy is in her third year with Elysian, after taking a break in 2008 and returning last year.  She marched at Oakland High School in Murfreesboro for 2.5 years, before transferring Cannon County High School for her last year.  Mandy performed a tour with the Spirit of Jacksonville State Drum and Bugle Corps in 2006. 

Raven is a senior at Antioch High School where she spun two years of fall color guard.  This is her third season with Elysian. 

Rebecca (known affectionately as 'Nomi' to the members and staff of Elysian) is a junior at Austin Peay State University, where she is majoring in Studio Arts.  She marched five fall seasons of color guard, as well as one winter season with Dover Independent in 2009.  Nomi is proud to be marching her first season with Elysian Independent. 

Brandon is currently a senior at Tennessee Tech University, where he is majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Popular Culture.  He marched one year with Whitwell High School, where he was captain.  He also marched 3 fall seasons with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and 2 years with UTC Allure Winter Guard.  This is his second and final season with Elysian, as he will be aging out in the spring. 

Leslie (or 'Bubble Bam') is a freshman at Union University majoring in Nursing.  She marched six years (including being Captain her senior year) at Davidson Academy of Nashville.  This is her third season with Elysian Independent. 

Kaitlyn attends the University of Tennessee-Martin where she is majoring in K-6 Education with a minor in Music.  She spun with Munford High School for 4 years, before becoming their instructor for two seasons (2008 - 2009).  She has also spun with the UTM Marching Band for the past 2 years, and is making her debut performance with Elysian this season. 

Jenny is a sophomore at APSU.  She spun for four full years with Creekwood High School.  She has also directed Dover Independent (2009) and the Northwest High School Guard Programs (2008-2009).  2010 marks her first year performing with Elysian. 

Mike is a junior at MTSU where he is majoring in Vocal Music Education.  Mike began spinning with Clinton High School in the winter of 2006.  After taking 2007 off, he returned to the winter guard floor with The Mark of NSA in 2008, before marching his first season with Elysian last year.  Mike also toured the country in 2009 as a member of the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps.  Mike has taught at various high schools in East Tennessee, including West Greene High School and Chuckey-Doak High School.  In the summer of 2010, Mike will be a featured clinician at the Guardians of Spin summer camp held by the Triiilogy Cultural Arts Centre in Kansas City, Missouri.  This will be Mike's final season marching winter guard, as he ages out in the spring.

Ashley is a five year veteran of Elysian Winter Guard.  Before her long tenure at Elysian, she spun for four years at Oakland High School, as well as a season with the Pioneer Drum and Bugle Corps.

Kim started spinning in the fall color guard at Sycamore High School, where she marched for four seasons before marching her first winter season.  She now attends APSU majoring in Journalism, and is pleased to be marching her debut season with Elysian. 

Taylor ("Baby Quee") Walls is the youngest member of Elysian, being a junior at Riverdale High School of Murfreesboro.  She spun two years at RHS, and is now marching her third season with Elysian.
